I wish I could do both Phil, I really do. But a nice long winter break in the caribbean combined with six top class cricket matches plus a bit of sailing, fishing, drinking and general meatheadedness is a difficult combination to beat.

Andy,

Enjoy,  I saw the work in progress on the Grounds in Trinidad and Barbados.    You may well get to see some Builders Bum too.

Monday 11th June : Pitch tent in MB then off to Jacobins for scrutineering. Mr Moggie arrives.  Evening : BBQ chez the Termites.
Tuesday: More scrutineering; arrival of 2 more guests. Dinner in local bar.
Wednesday : Lazy morning followed by practice then home.
Thursday : Afternoon practice from Grandstand then off to Mulsanne for trackside picnic then home.  Friday : CA Cavalcade drive out round the Sarthe ending at the Classic British Welcome, St Saturnin.  Back to MB for whatever.  2 more guests arrive.
Saturday/Sunday - watch race, possibly with a couple of hours' kip in MB at some time.  Heli ride early Sat evening, plus the 'poo bar meet of course.  Relax on MB for a couple of hours after race, break camp then home.  Idle the time away waiting for next year...

Back on topic...

Limited holiday allowance (well the holidays that do not include Mrs Oldtimer are limited anyway) dictate a quick visit again this year.

Eurotunnel is now booked for Friday 15th and Monday 18th and as usual I am outlandishly excited about the trip.

Especially looking forward to it this year because as well as the usual suspects in our crew we are to blood a newbie.  Should be great  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin
