I wish I could do both Phil, I really do. But a nice long winter break in the caribbean combined with six top class cricket matches plus a bit of sailing, fishing, drinking and general meatheadedness is a difficult combination to beat.

Back to topic. Friday 1st June. Book tickets for '08. Scrutineering all day. 2nd June, more scurtineering. 3rd June Pre-quali. Monday 11th June : Pitch tent in MB then off to Jacobins for scrutineering. Mr Moggie arrives. Evening : BBQ chez the Termites. Tuesday: More scrutineering; arrival of 2 more guests. Dinner in local bar. Wednesday : Lazy morning followed by practice then home. Thursday : Afternoon practice from Grandstand then off to Mulsanne for trackside picnic then home. Friday : CA Cavalcade drive out round the Sarthe ending at the Classic British Welcome, St Saturnin. Back to MB for whatever. 2 more guests arrive. Saturday/Sunday - watch race, possibly with a couple of hours' kip in MB at some time. Heli ride early Sat evening, plus the 'poo bar meet of course. Relax on MB for a couple of hours after race, break camp then home. Idle the time away waiting for next year...
