Briggs Cunningham.  1950.  Cunningham Cadillac engined 'Le Monstre'.

I saw it run at the Goodwood FoS a few years ago.

Spot on Steve - hole in one.

The same year, he also ran a standard Cadillac 62 saloon with 5.4-litre engine with modified carbs, stiffer shocks and better brakes.  Miles & Sam Collier drove the saloon to 10th overall, and Cunningham and Phil Walters drove Le Monstre to 11th place.

It does look like its a prototype for "Thunderbirds".  One of the little pieces of LM history
