hello all, been away for a while, busy with life and work and all that. New Year and i thought lets make the effort to get back on here.

All well over here in Wokingham, various trials regarding humber fuel supply over the last few months, now all sorted with the addition of a spacer to my fuel pump and the Humber is fighting fit once more and cannot wait for the long drive in June.

Hope all are well and Happy New Year to you all.

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

Welcome back you old reprobate. We will have to organise a planning meeting in "The Ham" sometime soon.

Good to hear fom you Dave, glad to hear the Humper is in better form. What was the cause of the fuel starvation? Was I right, it wasn't the carbs was it? Here's to a Rootes cavalcade in June.

Fuel Pump was dead so i bought a new one from old speedy.
Which led to all sorts of head scratchings.

I had fuel pissing out of the, from too little to too much. Thought the carbs were buggered. So put new carbs on. Still fuel pissing out. Hmmmm, la la la.

Then went to buy a 2nd new pump and old mr speedy says do you want a spacer with that? A spacer i say whats that and how much. Oh it spaces and is about a farthing. OK i say one of them as well. Bung it all back together and bobs your mothers brother, she purrs like a pussy cat once more, oh bugger, a flat tyre!! HA HA you gotta love a rootes mobile, it'll do all in its power to stop you driving it.

But she is a peach of a wagon and looks a treat sat outside my new town centre office.

And thanks all for teh welcome, i think a planning meet in teh naam sounds a stirling idea.
