You can vote for the Most popular Driver and also for the Fans’ award - given to the person or group that has made the biggest impact in sports car racing - on www.americanlemans.com.

Voting will remain open until Midnight on Sunday 1st October which coincides with the end of the Petit Le Mans race.

Make sure you log in and vote!

My vote is, who gives a f**k about the drivers (ninety-five percent of them are paying rent-a-schmucks), and the greatest impact goes to the person who can get the alcohol prohibition repealed at Road Atlanta.  Be careful guys, don't let the fun Nazi's get ya Wink
Would hate to see DP's circuits get like NASCAR/ISC tracks and rape the paying spectator for every penny they've got.  If so, its game over for the ALMS.

Apparently there is some sort of regulation in place that booze can't be brought into the grounds at RA, however you can purchase it there (meaning stick it to the customer)
It'll be interesting to see if they ever actually enforce this regulation, if so I say f**k off to Road Atlanta.  Several of the NASCAR tracks don't allow booze to be brought onto the facilities, and they enforce it knowing that they can rip everyone off for five bucks a beer at the concession stand. As I said, if it ever actually reaches this stage, I'm done with it.
