Sorry to interupt Wink, but did the owner of the house buy up the rights to Spice cars?

Fagey

I stayed there in 89, they had a field at the crossroads next to the Porche Curves. Never stayed with them again, but I did here in 96 that they were arrested an there campsite was closed down, because they did'nt have a license, not sure if that was true or not. In 89 they built a small grandstand in the back garden, which gave a great view. As an afterthought, if I recall correctley this was a year of the Mazda screech.

never stayed there, but do recall it. Ironically, we did go looking for the house this year.

yep, was the year of the Mazda, and also the Aston AMR1 - totally opposite sounds!   Merc won that year too.

i know he had a team the following year too, and then had an interest in a team two year after that. No idea there afters..    a company i worked for in the motor inndustry did some sponorship for the team, and donated parts to his 89 effort -  probarbly why he broke down! the team did run a limited budget. He was involved in Penthouse magazine, as via him we placed a couple of double page adverts over a  few different editions.
