Yup.  Works like a charm.   You got a great deal, too!

Be aware the water that comes out of them will be VERY hot if we have the weather we had last year!!  You'll need to mix it in some way to make it useable!

last year I built a solar shower by using 2 lorry inner tubes connected to a hose from the stand pipe, a small pump powered by an electric drill and a hanging basket hose attachment( Robert Dyas, even has different spray patterns). It worked ok, but we found that the water in the hose pipes got hotter (less cross section volume to heat). So this year we have a refined version of the pump (properly mounted with a remote pull switch) and a double width shower tent (£5 off of *bay, less scary for the neighbours). We have about 50m + mine (25m) of hose which we will route to try to get as much sun as possible. The inner tubes will make sure that if we run out of heated water it won’t suddenly get cold. Probably cost about £30 in bits that I had to buy over junk in the shed.

i was gonna get one of these until i remembered the general state and lack of facilities in which we usually camp. Although this year we do have the luxury of a gazebo!! And there are never any trees from which to hang said shower at our camps, and the thought of being organised enough to actually get a shower tent as well as a shower is way beyond me. I will be happy laying there amongst our usual piles of empty bottles, half eaten blacked meat, porn, flies, and sweating bodies.
