One of my best friends lived at Laigné-en-Belin, just 6 kms from the arnage corner, 9kms from general entrance and he's selling his house.

It's a brand new house (build 5 years ago so you still have a 5 year-warranty), 110 m², 3 bedrooms, huge living room with fireplace, equiped bathroom, kitchen, garage.

There's a 860 m² garden and room to park 2 more cars.

It costs only 1 100 000 FF so around 110 000 £ so it's really a good bargain and a great opportunity for Le Mans Enthusiasts so near of the speedway!!!

As I've got the keys, I can arrange you a visit whenever you want and especially next week.

Laigné-en-Belin is really a good place to live, you've got all shops, banks, railway station 1km from the house, and the house is in a quiet residential surrounding.

Giles,

I would be interested in taking a look a this property over the race weekend. I arrive at the circuit at lunchtime on the Friday. Can we co-ordinate a meet prior to me/us consuming too much vino ?

Why are houses in France so reasonably priced.  Now all I need to do is ponder employment prospects out there!

you raised the wrong question !

why houses in Uk are so expensive ? That's the real one...  Tongue

As Laigné is only 10 kms from le Mans, you ahve many jobs you can do, just depend on your abilities.

As for the race, I could become an expatriate specialist anyway.  Cool
