I see your point JPC, i am not sure about the technicalities of possible brewing under licence, but i dont really consider Kronenbourg to be a French stubbie.....tho i am prepared to be proved wrong.

Fran, until a few years ago, Kronenbourg brewed for bottles came entirely from Strasbourg. It wasn't until a deal was struck (by I believe Scottish and Newcastle) in about the mid 90's, that they started to bottle it over in the UK under licence. I should point out that all the Kronenbourg you find in LM IS French. Brewed and bottled  Grin. It is for this reason, it is so much nicer than the crud we get in the UK.

I can vouch for this, because I used to work in the licenced trade, and although I would not touch the draft crap, I was always partial to a bottle of Kronenborg, until they went and screwed it up  Angry

I am abit partial to the Kronenbourg myself and have noticed its abundance in Calais hypermarkets, so i think this may be the way to go. although cans are lighter, easier to Mount and hold more so any more thoughts/ideas greatly appreciated?

I have booked the ferry now for very early friday morning, bit late judging by some of the posts here i know but work and all that.( Just that elusive ticket now) but I'm looking at Eburgers regually as well as keeping in with you guys.

I'm getting alittle excited now - but try not to show it in front of the missus  Grin still trying to make it look like i'm just going to make up the numbers and do the Lads a favour  Cheesy

.... slighly more difficult to keep a grip on when wet compared against the contoured bottle.......

Try one of these Fran - doesn't warm the beer and doesn't cool your hand.  The beer carrier is attached to the glove bit.  Needless to say, I will NOT be putting a Fosters can or bottle in it!

Cans for a beer wall  Shocked - radical dude!  Tho that may be compromising taste for construction-ability.... not that keen on the flavour of canned beer personally.  Then again.......after the first half dozen or so ... what the heck.

Funny you should mention that Del, one of the things I was considering introdcuing to Le Mans were Stubbie Holders. We collected dozens from everywhere we went in Australia and New Zealand back in 2000/2001 and I think they could be an excellent idea for Le Mans (if the beers last long enough to get warm of course!!)

PS Mountain materclasses probably free to CA members...until we run out of beer - will sort out an invitation "system"

Then you've a lot to answer for Mr. T.
Thanks to the skill and craftsmanship of the employees of S&N I have been disowned by family, banished to far away lands and I predict having my life expectancy severely shortened.
