He was involved in Noel Edmonds Panoz effort a few years back, so at least he has been there, but I doubt he left the comfort of a suite.

I seem to remember they got him in the Radio Le Mans hut along with Tiff. They both got a bit the worse for wear and refused to give up the mike, which led to a very amusing couple of hours entertainment. Neither of them seemed to care what they said, which was actually quite funny.
