Your right - you're too late, but if you try
www.lemans.org
they may have some Beausejour camping permits left. If you check to rest of the forum you will see much discussion on what camp site is best. Just get to the greatest motor race on the planet, you WILL have a great time

Trawl this forum and the 'Help' section. In between all the bullshit and nonsense there is some useful stuff.
For tickets, you could try the ACO direct or Nadine at the LM tourist board. Alternatively, hang fire here and see what turns up in the 'Sell Swap' section.

If you get absolutly stuck for a pitch, you can pitch at the back of Car Park Blue - small tent beside your car is generally ok. Dont leave it much later than Thursday evening - not realy legal but has always happened. One tip though - no bogs or showers, so dont eat sweetcorn, unless you particually good at running with clenched buttocks.
