What a coincedence, I stupidly left my pass for a few months and as mentioned am left with the two strips of glue.

I am tempted to use cellulose thinners on it to remove.

The active ingredient of Nailpolish remover is Acetone.
For those who would rather shop at the hardware store than the make up counter.

No need.

Just raid the Missus make up stash and get it for free.

Well I say free...

Just thought I'd dig this thread out as a reminder of the perils.

I've just got around to removing the two thin strips of glue from the parking sticker (just in time for it to happen again) after going through a load of differing products only cellulose thinners was able to shift the offenders.

In previous years, I have left mine on the dashboard, but last year the campsite guards were insistent that the pass was stuck to the windscreen.   EVOStik Impact Adhesive solvent works a treat for me, or MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone) if you can get hold of it - only use on glass.
