Got a postcard the other day to tell me that www.racingpilot.com is having a sale of overstocked items. Some items up to 90 % off.
Log onto the website and look at the "specials" section, there are some nice prints at great prices. I just ordered 4 Nicholas Watts prints for $90, one signed by the artist and the winning drivers from Sebring 2002.

Also if you are going to Sebring, then you can collect your order from them there rather than pay postage costs on them !

Regards

Thanks for flagging this up Chris.
I just bought a signed print of "Thunder & Lightning" Corvettes at Le Mans 2001 for $90.00
I've always wanted this print and drooled over it at their displays at Daytona, Sebring and Road Atlanta.
I could never stomach the $250.00 asking price - so this was a real bargain to me.
Thanks again for bringing it to our attention - I'll buy you a beer at Hendricks Field!
Regards
Matt

Nice shoot'in Matt,
I was going to drop you a line and tip you off to the Vette print but Chris beat me to it.  I got the same postcard the other day from Jack.  Nice B&W 917 photo on the card.  Chris, did you get the last card with Peter Revson and Teddy Mayer on it?  Classic Impressions (racingpilot.com) is located just north of Cincy in Centerville (a suburb of Dayton)  Jack Webster's an interesting guy, he was the team manager for the Fabcar/Porsche IMSA GTP team back n the eighties and still knows just about everyone in the sport.  He's the one who tipped me off at Sebring last year that one of the Bentley's was Joest crewed.  His gallery is quite impressive, lots of original helmets, firesuits, jackets, etc.  lying around as well as the art.  I've picked up alot of stuff over the years from him..

Just as a postscript to this, my fableeus print arrived last Thursday, beautifully packed and stunning to behold. It's now at the framers and I'm looking forward to giving it pride of place in my home.
This morning, another package arrived, with photo's of all of the works drivers signing the prints, a certificate of authentication and a cd-rom with a sound file of interviews with all of the signing drivers, relating their experiences of the rain-sodden 2001 race.
This was an added bonus and I cannot recommend this supplier highly enough.
Absolutely superb all-round service. Thanks again, Chris, for the tip.

You don't win Le Mans - you outlast it.

Sebring, Sebring, aaargh... if those of you who have the utter luck to be at Sebring in ten days time would you please be so kind and pop into the Rollcentre (white X-markets Dallara) garage to wish Martin, Rob and Joao all the best of luck in my name (Hansgerd), cheers.  Kiss

It's the very least I can do Chris. Now, you do realise that my skills with a computers CD-ROM drive a dubious to say the least. Apologies in advance if you end up with Type O Negative instead of Ron Fellows.
Looking forward to seeing you again at Sebring. Bring your sunblock, it's going to be a "Whew, What a Scorcher!"

Without rubbing salt on the wounds, hgb, we have excellent pit creds this year. If possible we'll pass on your best wishes personally. However, with Fax's reputation as the "Cold Hand of Death", it may not be appropriate to let him get too close to your Dallara racing pals.

Hi Guys,
Matt, looking forward to seeing your new print and hearing the CD-Rom, we'll have to pop it in the disk player on the ride down to Sebring from Orlando.  Curious to hear what Rocket Ron and Johnny O have to say about the deluge of '01.  Very excited about the upcoming 12 Hours.  As well as being a very historic and important motor race, it's also a great celebration of the arrival of spring...In other words, a big frick'in party!  Jan Lammers is still with us after Daytona so things are lookng up for me.
