Despite of many years of experience in this field I never heared of Membrau, doesn't tell me anything. Google even comes up with Membran instead of Membrau.

Hey Gab, Mention of German Beer and up you pop. Good man. Warsteiner still my favourite. Canada Phil I'm with Phil - can't beat a drop of the old Warstarter. Dab is pretty good too. Not a big fan of weissbier - some thing not quite right about brewing with wheat. A Swiss brew by the name of Huurlimanns is equally tasty - and then of course there's always Grimbergen - oh dear, I've come over all funny at the very thought of it....

Hurlimann.......crikey that brings back memories. Used to be known as Hooligan down our local as after five pints you thought you could take on the world!!! (Well I was only 20) Shepherd Neame adopted it as one of their "house" lagers I believe. Strong, but a lovely taste. Ah, those were the days.!!!

The very stuff JP - Swiss equivilant of Stella Wifebeater! Tasty stuff, but it creeps up on you and turns you into either The Incredible Hulk, or Sleeping Beauty.
