OK I'll admit it.  All BigH's references to 'Engrailing' have left me somewhat confused, but with some awful mental imagery to go to bed with Shocked

So I thought I'd do some research to find out what the hell Engrailing was, and I'm even more confused:

Firstly it something to do with being knighted: http://www.theamazinginstitute.org/gurps/mithras/engrail.htm

Then its something to do with coins:
Irish Milled Coinage (1680 - 1823)   - ... The currency issues have an engrailed edge (ie a grove cut into the edge around the coin) with oblique milling within the engrailing. ...
http://www.irishcoinage.com/MILLED.HTM

Then its something to do with heraldry:
Kingdom of Atenveldt - Recent actions by the College of Arms   - ... There were some concerns in the College that the engrailing would not be identifiable due to the complex outline of the charge and the internal details. ...
http://atensubmissions.nexiliscom.com/recent5.shtml

So I'm still confused, and possibly preferring the horrendous mental imagry that I started with Huh

If anyone has any other suggestions (factual or fictitional) I'd be most interested............Really, honest, I need closure on this one for the sake of my sanity Roll Eyes

newly graduated girls having survellience cameras installed in their bedrooms .

Gets my vote for the most promising explanation, although Mark's is probably more correct
