Is there any point in bringing a radio scanner to the track? or are all team channels scrambled?

I took one a few years ago.
Only managed to get a few GT teams and a I think a taxi firm (in French) all the rest were just crackles.
I was standing along the start straight as well at the time.

The teams use digital radios, quite hard to access without the codes
