Another one of the 'good guys' of racing has checked-out. He was a great character and impossible not to like. Among many other highlights in his racing career, he drove the Porsche 908 camera car during the 1970 Le Mans 24 hours, that captured racing footage used in the Steve McQueen film, that was used in conjunction with the staged sequences.
