This has just been reported in german media - they'll race 3 cars at Le Mans and at the dress rehearsal in Spa Franchorchamps. No confirmation of any drivers for that 3rd car though. Any sports car aces on the market right now?

I guess the question is will they upgrade the GT Pro boys and seek replacements for them, or bring in a temp crew for the LMP1.

Happy speculating everybody!

Not sure, but there's at least half a dozen F1 drivers whose contracts aren't being renewed, with Button almost volunteering, but he may be resigned.  We'll have to see if the others can make the grade

Since he will also race for Force India next year this is really remarkable - For the first time in ages an active F1 driver will do sportscar racing in parallel - just like in the old days!   Grin Will the dwarf like this?

That is remarkable if the Hulk is doing LM, and Spa for Porsche, one has to go back to the eighties to find a era when a active F1 driver also competed in sportscars.  That used to be pretty common, but Stefan Bellof's death at Spa put the kibosh on that.

Only Hulkenberg so far.  He's testing the 919 in Aragon.
Also testing today : Nick Tandy

Yep, they are testing with Michael Christensen, Frederic Makowiecki und Nick Tandy. Looks like 2 of these 3 drivers will make it into the 3rd Porsche 919.
