A great man and a sad loss. I remember very well the laughs he gave me as I was growing up. Given the era in which he was at his peak I'm suprised that I don't remember him being in any of the Carry On films. RIP Eric and thanks for so many memories.

If you mean sliding front doors, then the Bedford CF I think, unless you know different? It outlived the Mk1 Transit which ceased production at the end of 1985.

OK - Start with a bit of van Porn for Andy but what about the dreaded Sherpa wot was the last year they were produced As a kid can remember our Bedford Dormobile (like this one) Driving with the door was great, except when you stopped suddenly, mind your hands, feet or head! an early People Mover?
