Hi, to you both, we have not heard a lot from you for a while, hope all is well. Have you purchased our large paddling pool yet for next year, here's hoping.
Come on lets start getting into the swing of this forum and ready for 2004.
Regards.

Brian

Bonjour from sunny (Huh) France. We have not been able to access the site for ages (yesterday was the first time I got on it since about July!)- it may be something to do with not paying our French Internet bill for 6 months!! "Je ne comprend pas" can only get you so far in France we have learned but it is quite useful from time to time.
MrsRS2 has taken it upon herself as her main mission to find said pool and we have toured every supermarket in the vicinty in search of the ideal item. In view of what size pools we have seen recently I suspect you may need to extend the Liverpool Boys camping area for next year ............perhaps we should begin a search for a Baywatch (female of course) style lifeguard?

Have you booked for next year yet? If not we may have somehting of interest for you...........

Im sure MrsRS2 will respond separately now I've told her about this post.

Cheers

Simon,
Good to hear from you, have not spoken to Chris directly about France but I'll tell him you have posted so he should reply I know he is working full tilt on his house, Anyway you tell us who much space we need to save and laeve the rest to us!! But if you were to arrive next year a little earlier than 5 to 4 on Saturday afternoon it would help!!

Hi PM

There's a big Carrefour about 5 mins drive away from the walls, in fact you'll drive right by it on the way in. Follow directions to Rennes and after driving past the McDonalds on the right you'll come to a big roundabout. Take the first exit, signposted Z.I. La Madelaine and you'll see it from there.

Depending what you are looking to stock up on there is one of those cheapo booze places right by the ferry terminal - they're always leaving flyers on our car. As me and MrsRS2 are lightweights in the alcohol dept not sure whether prices are any good or not though - Carrefour may be best bet for copious amounts of beer! Unless of course you only want a supermarket to stock up on carrots for the donkey for next year or the odd sock maybe???

Cheers

ps may get to see you at 1000kms as it's only "down the road" for us these days..

Why don't you bring a trailer ?? it won't be really aerodynamic, but so practical and you'ld bring such a large quantity of wine and cigarettes.

A Berlingo is a serious status symbol in France you know!!

The next step up from that is a Xantia and then you are verging on superstar status.

We can but dream.........

Simon & Lisa, great to hear from you, thought that you may have been ship wrecked on your daily crossings to Jersey.
Chris, called in to see me on Tuesday, he has as Ian states been up the wall with the jobs on his new house and problems with his steam driven pc it keeps crashing, I asked him had he been over to see you both, he said that it was still in the pipe line but he just has not had the spare holidays to make the trip. Thinking of next year and depending what time you are arriving we can if you wish put up an extra tent so that you can just crash out. The pool has to be at least olimpic size or slightly smaller if the former is not possible. We are still working on the ensuite facility for Mrs RS2. We have booked Ian did this in July,as for the space we all need we are arriving on the Sunday next year so the worlds your oyster how much shall we tape off who knows.
Great to hear from you.
Take care.
Brian.
