With all this washing up being threatened, are we taking along a fully equipped kitchen brigade this year?  My recollection is that Team LB mostly ate bread n rillette straight out of the packaging?

The Bristol Fighter was suprising well developed and did a load of miles at the ring. The Viper engine was as reliable as the moon but the biggest problem was their refusal to deal with the UK motoring press.

That said shaping aluminium body panels with an ugly stick was probably a bad idea...

Its a real shame about Bristol Cars, while it was under Tony Crook ownership it was a truely british company and much misunderstood. Crook did not give press interviews as he was not interested in what the press had to say about his cars he believed that they spoke volumes on their own ( By todays standards this is fairly detrimental to a companys Future ). He sold half of Bristol in 1997 by 2001 he had sold the other half to the same company, but he stayed on till 2008 as the managing director. As you can see from the state of the company his departure from it in 2008 can be seen as the down turn in its fortunes. T Crook is a British legend and someone who is quintessently British and a much under estimated racing driver with 370 placed finishes under his belt. I believe 22 people have lost their jobs so far, a small concern by todays standards but a real shame as far as British car's are concerned.
