Hi all,

for a report in the oncoimg CA Guide I could use a couple of pics from the 1994 race, especially these cars:

#35 and #36 Dauer Porsche, #1 SARD Toyota and #4 Nisso Trust Toyota

Cheers, just 37 days left... Grin

Yep, he has always been my brother, normally camping with semtex and swampy! Grin

Cant really help with pictures of the cars from 94, do have one of the road going Dauer 962 parked in the paddock if needed.

See...these are PROPER LM cars in my opinion.  Time to go back to the days of closed cockpits....otherwise they're just formula cars with a bit more bodywork....

That was at the test weekend (I used to go in those days) before Porsche thought it should look like a private entry, so they had better find some stickers.

Its proof that they weren't cheating by entering an ordinary 962.  The Carbon body was completely new

I found some more

The one thing I notice about the picture of the camp site, is no flags.
When did they start appearing?

I'm not going through all my photos for the last 16 years to find the answer to that one. Shocked

We were flying a blow up dinosaur (as one does) by 1999, and there were certainly a few flags by then

And yes Barry & Brad, these are proper LM cars

Hi,

Seem to recall flags in Houx and Houx annex from the late 80's. Mainly Jag flags or country flags

The one thing I notice about the picture of the camp site, is no flags.
When did they start appearing?
I'm not going through all my photos for the last 16 years to find the answer to that one. Shocked

We were flying a blow up dinosaur (as one does) by 1999, and there were certainly a few flags by then

We were there with a small Union Jack in the early and late 80's, Nordic, myself and his mates "Swampy and Semtex" among others???

Yep, he has always been my brother, normally camping with semtex and swampy! Grin

Started to see other "team" flags with the onset of the internet, what with CA, beer mountain, etc. Also lightweight flagpole's becoming cheaply available seemed to spawn more and more.
