Martini - your sig ("Bought myself a new roll-on deodorant today. Instructions said 'Take off top and push up bottom'. Five feckin hours I spent in casualty!") reminded me of the Swedish Chemist shop sketch on Not the Not O'Clock news.

"I need an anti perspirant"

"Ball or aerosol?"

"Neither, it is for my armpits"

Luckily the wife won't drive my car because it's a 5-speed.  If she did, I'm sure it would have been filled with gas by now.

Given the rarity of diesel passenger cars over here, it's not unusual for someone to walk up while I'm fueling and let me know I'm putting diesel in my car and that it's now ruined.  Roll Eyes
So what car do you drive in the USA that is Diesel ?

A 2000 Golf.

Now I am a little worried. I am traveling to the UK this week to buy a new car which is probably going to be diesel, my first, and I would not be surprised if I do not do the same, with my silly head on.

Anything nice Martin ? Travelled in a Fabia VRS 1.9 TDI yesterday and i must admit, it was a real pocket rocket flying machine, nice leather seats as well.

It's another Audi Chris but this time an Avant, wanted one for a while.
