Mulsanne was a v. pleasant alternative (or supplementary) to St Saturnin on the Friday. V. informal, cars came and went, people milling around and a nice cafe round the corner. Went there mid-afternoon when it was busy, and then onto Arnage for the obligatory staek and frites and watching some early antics, before retiring to BN and parking up for the Friday night on the campsite. After that it gets rather hazy.......

Hi Amazing, as already mentioned by Gary and Mark. The St Saturnin (sp) event is well worth it for display of mostly old cars in a somewhat organized fashion. I guess my impression of the Mulsanne village outing was that of a pleasant drive from St Saturnin and parking in the street and walking to find the pub. If it were not for the company hardly worth doing. Mulsanne village is pleasant enough at other times. If you have not done the Parade in the city centre I would recommened it. Also a good place to sit in a cafe and people watch. See you in June Canada Phil

This time I want to find somewhere in whatever village and sit at a cafe roadside and watch all the people and cars go by while enjoying some good beer and some local fare. Sounds like something to do. huh? Sitting, drinking and eating??? Count me in. Amen to that. Those are three of my four favorite things. The top three, actually.

Has anybody heard from Lynx as to whether or not Mulsanne is on again this year? I've had a look at their website and there's no mention as yet.
Personally I'll be at St Sat in the morning then probably sitting outside the bar at St Jean D'Asse for most of the afternoon.....

Hi Termie, Where is this BAR of which you speak ? Canada Phil |On the D338 (ex N 138) about 10k North of St Sat. Just a little chillout spot roadside to watch the new arrivals turn up. Sadly, it's not as good as it was before the motorway opened.

Looks as if Mulsanne is on then thanks, Jules. If Paul wants to take the Red Car there then we may go but we still don't know when he'll be turning up.
