1  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:Sky Television on: June 27, 2005, 03:14:11 pm
We at Team Crapaud got our sky+ and dish working, but only after setting it slightly higher off the ground. We used an old  tyre on the roof of our van and sat the dish in that, worked fine after that.

I can’t seem to get onto your web site, how much are the blue polo shirts, and shipping to Jersey.
Would it be much more to ship Holly, make sure you use lots of bubble wrap, we don’t want her to get bruised. Tongue

Hey Scorpi, if its a VW based buggy look to get an A-Frame to tow it. Try VWHeritage website. heres the link.

8  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:THE BEST ROUTE on: January 13, 2005, 05:48:27 pm
Team Crapaud will leave Jersey for St Malo. From there its less than an hour to Renne (1 car made it in 20 minutes, they did the supermarche shop, ie beer run), stop for lunch, then an hour and a bit to lemans.

I'm sure there is a boat to St.Malo from UK.

Last year i left Jersey at 9am GMT and arrived at Le Mans at 1pm French time, only stopping once to get petrol and 10 minutes later to change a rear tire after having a blowout at a ton (thats no fun belive me).

9  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:TRACK DAY FOR CAers - TOO GOOD TO MISS on: January 11, 2005, 12:13:23 am
I'm up for bringing my 1972 Plymouth Cuda over from Jersey, i might know a few more people with similar cars up for something different(as opposed to drag racing that is). Hey but could it be possible to set a 1/4 mile drag strip too, for part of the day, i'd like to see how a ferrari or porche would be like going up against a 33 year old car.

But it can get a bit busy, so arrange to meet at the pits entrance gate if your with mates as there is a good chance you'll loose each other. i normally do.

Or are they loosing me on purpose. Undecided

Here is what you may get to see on the Friday  Tongue

Oh and 1 or 2 cars, most in bits
12  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:Off Road Racing - Automatic Gearbox Help on: January 05, 2005, 06:08:52 pm
Without a full rebuild of the gearbox and changing all the gear ratios, have you considered reducing the final drive at the axle. I have a similar issue on the 1/4 mile i'm only using 1st and 2nd before the timing light. I'll be getting a new diff when i can afford it.
13  Club Arnage / Help / Re:2005 camping tickets on: January 05, 2005, 05:48:48 pm
I contacted ACO quite recently to find out where my Club 24 Collector pack was and to ask how i could get to camp in Maison Blanche, this was the reply:

The Membership office transferred us your mail. Sorry; but Maison Blanche is sold out. The booking is open since the end of April 2004 (date of the Preliminary) and we got lots of booking during the week of the race.

Kind Regards,
