We were lucky enough to be sitting next to Graham and Charles (2 of the RLM team) on the ferry coming home. Very interesting and knowlegeable chaps, quite happy to chat despite them being totally shattered.
One thing people may not realise is quite how hard they work and how underfunded they are. I can't quite believe that the ACO do not invest more in them. To have people be suggesting such negatives is a real shame as we should be supporting and encouraging these chaps. If people have issues with certain ways things are done, RLM are friendly and approachable - indeed they want feedback to improve in coming years. Just my two penneth...

We're coming down on Friday morning in Bam Bam (see this month's Evo mag for the Rover V8 Westie article - the said car) and a 15 seater bus. My worry is that a lot of my pistonhead friends are missing out on the drive as they choose to drink and sleep (they are missing out of experiences such as when an F40 overtake's your Ferrari by a good 50 mph and you were at least 150 at the time (divisions of kph honest officer!))
Anyway, that aside we have a spare entrance ticket for Teckno Park as our Mr T for the van dropped out due to wife commitments... so mail me and I'll send it if you are genuine - the ticket is already paid for so looking for nothing than another petrolhead who has a group who we may meet in the park at some point for beer mountain challenge in the weekend for a laugh and need a ticket to join his mates.
