1  Club Arnage / General Discussion / camera signs on: October 28, 2005, 04:55:47 pm
some of the camera signs have changed, particularly in Cheshire, from one with borders to ones without on a yellow background

does that mean that if you get nabbed in an area using an old style sign you could get off because the sign is wrong and therefore illegal Huh
 Huh

just brilliant

i'll post some pics when i've sorted through them

but the highlight was the 500 merc with the standard interior, auto gear box, road tyres, wipers on the headlights, air con, fag lighter electric windows,  a pit crew that was non existent and pit equipment that comprised two chairs, table and a bowl of fruit, one tyre change after 14 hrs using standard good year road tyres.

couldn't find the eight track player but it must have been in there

they did get lapped after two laps in the first four minutes but hey who cares fantastic

as was shoty's win and the battle down to the last five minutes of the 24 hrs

8  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: Spa F1 on: September 04, 2005, 12:58:53 pm
It takes 3.5 hrs from tunnel to spa
well signed just follow m way to Brussels, as you get to Brussels the signs tell you the road to follow - aachen M42 I THINK, as you approach a total station you need to get in the inside lane which can be tricky

camp sites
just turn up, we did for FIA GTs, there are a number just north of the main entrance

otherwise park up, and just walk in with tent and pitch in the woods, you can park on road near the r'bout to the main entrance though it says not too, we did for part of the GTs

take a bike as there is a concrete section path around just about the whole circuit
excellent views, boudins at 2.5 euros were excellent, though there may be a price hike

smokie is correct, though your're welcome to come to cheshire anbd stand outside stanlow oil depot and protest

what also drives up the cost is traders, often a tanker will change hands three, four, five times on its way from the gulf as it is traded between the twats in the city, many in opec have said that to remove them would take up to $20 a barrell off the price

i hope it goes higher so those oaps who drive at forty five every where are forced off the road as their pensions, to which i am paying towards, fail to meet the rising cost.

fuel is cheaper but you just got to but loads of it, i got a flyer offering it me at 67 p a litre but i need to use several 1ooo litres a week, as i don't run a haulage company there isn't much chance

the answer appears to be

Ben Collins - embassy racing which might fit with the high profile they like to maintain
