Well fellow Arnagers,

Having not received the camping tickets I ask for I popped on to that other 'for profit' site to find Houx Annexe tickets up for auction for the princely sum of £75. Disgusting!
Anyone who makes a profit on these sought after tickets needs a lesson in fellowship for the event.
The ebay name is xxxxxxx-Lotus.
I do hope the person isn't a member of the Lotus Club, they should know better. All I can hope is that next year that person doesnt get their tickets and has to pay a whopper of a price on ebay.
Last year I had 4 Houx annexe tickets and sold them for no profit on this site, the ethos was to get other fellow enthusiasts to the event without ripping them off.

Enough ranting, enough said.

Aaaah that  site, ain't nowt wrong with the site, just the black marketeers that use it to make an immoral quid out of unfortunates.
But thats the way the world is these days, doesn't make it right though.

Ladies and Gents,

Due entirely to time wasters and people of dubious parentage, who shall remain nameless in this forum, I find that between 2 separate groups of Le Man goers there is a surplus of at least 4 camping tickets for the Houx Annexe.

The price I am asking for these tickets is face price (Price on ticket), plus a few Euros/Quid for postage that we had to pay, but no profit will be made. I am not a ticket tout and I expect that maybe one day I will be in need of a ticket and I don't want to be shafted either, so, Do unto others....etc.

The tickets have not yet been received, but should be with us any day now.

I am taking names and numbers of the folks who are interested in purchasing these tickets.

Please give me a call on 07939-254242 to register your interest. First come first served.

As soon as the tickets arrive or I have confirmation of them in one of our groups hands I will call the first folks who showed interest to let them know where I will in the Houx Annexe be so that they tickets can be retrieved as you arrive on site.

I have a sneaky feeling that this is going to be the best way as I leave for Le Mans on Sunday 12th and between then and now its unlikely that I can get them from Bournemouth to the interested parties in time.
However, if you express an interest I will keep as many as you wish ready for you to pick up as you arrive at the Houx Annexe (Phone call). It is at that point you will be asked to swop your payment for the tickets.

I hope this isn't confusing and answers a few last minute prayers to the Motor Racing ticket dispensing God.

Regards

The Lordly Benhams BMW of Wolverhampton Motor Racing spectating team will be despatching their recon party to LM via Portsmouth to Caen on Sunday 23.30hrs Ferry, arriving at Houx Annexe on Monday 09.00hrs to 'bag' a plot for the rest of the team to arrive and settle into on Thursday.

Recon party will attend the 'Scrutes' on Monday and Tuesday and Quals on Wednesday.
The full team with replacements can be seen at Saturnin on Friday Am for the Parade and general letch at nice cars.
Friday lunch at the Chinois on the Mulsanne, followed by a probable 'lost afternoon' tempered by a pleasant push bike ride round the various camping sites to spot old and gain new friends. And, if the heads permit, the Pilots Parade in town on Friday evening.

Monday morning is about getting the camp site back to such a state it will go back in the car, this activity is generally accompanied by a much dehydration and a bijou headache.

Back to Cherbourg to catch the 16.00hrs Ferry to Portsmouth for a 22.00hrsish landing, home for midnight. Own bed, shower, and a soft warm .....duvet. Sigh.

Everyone have a safe trip and a fab week/end.

Mark.
