I will be at Gurston during Le Mans weekend. Rather be doing racin' rather than watchin!! Nerly got a personal best wet time on first run. Once the rain stopped conditions were crap at best, very greasy! Car understeering moist of the time, as were most others. Those that weren't, were not trying!! Spoiler repaired, just needs spraying. At Colerne sprint on BH Monday (as is Mark D.R.). My target, achieve Class record and show up the 2ltr boyz Anyway while we're talking about Gurston, here's "Widow" in all its glory

As a Sprint/Hillclimb competitor, the cost of entering an event at Silverstone is already one the most expensive venues there is. This also the same for Club racing events there. I only hope that this deal does not mean a further increase in costs to the competitor, at the lower levels, as this will lessen the number of events staged, then the question will be whether it's actually worth all the expense in the long run. The only races then being run would be LMES, F1 & BTCC! On a brighter note though, Bernie might be around for another 5 years anyway

Either way, if a TVR were for sale on this side of the pond, I would be first in line. What a looker!!
From what I hear and read in the British motoring press then you may get your place in the queue in the not too distant future. Since the sale of TVR to Russian Nikolai Smolensky there have been a number of articles where he has been quoted as saying that European and US markets will be addressed, they will sink more money into developing LHD cars, aiming to meet US emissions regs. etc, etc. Personally I think they should spend a bit on making the cars more reliable first, then the world markets will be theirs for the taking. I agree the cars are great to look at, but I want to drive as well. Not spend half my time sitting at the side of the road staring at my car waiting for the tow truck to arrive. I've also heard that Smolensky is also making a few threats at the existing board, saying that things will only be done his way. Good or bad??

Beginning to find some questions being repeated. So if we've all got a good memories, then theoretically we should all be getting 10/10 in about 2 weeks . Is sight being run by the BBC?

Anyone around Surrey ought to get some tickets & find out (they film in an airfield not far from Guildford) If this Stig is Julian Bailey he seems to be a damn sight quicker than Perry was. It's gotta beat trying to race in an unreliable MG-Lola EX257!! Before y'all start, I drive an MG so I know how unreliable they are!! I think the 5th Gear lot is part of the old Top Gear production team, Andy Wilman used to be involved in Top Gear a while back & is now producing 5th Gear? Missed Top Gear this week will have to try & catch the repeat one evening!! Wishy is already trying to get tickets. We live about 1/2 hour from Dunsfold. Will let you know
