1  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: New 'portal' page for Club Arnage on: June 10, 2010, 02:52:57 pm
New portal page looks good in Australia. Love the blog. Please keep it up as I am feeling very distant from the race.  Cheers

I missed the news that Rollcentre has put the Pesca up for sale. Where was this reported? Can anyone post a link?

Can anyone shed any light on why Rollcentre are not listed on the Free practice 2 timing sheets. I see them on free practice one. Have they had a problem?

Many thanks

Thanks Nordic,

Once again I have got all excited by a headline that does not quite tell the full story. But I guess that is the art of the headline writer!!.

Daily Sportscar has a news story with the above headline. I don't currently subscribe, does anyone else know anything more?

I understand that the Accuras will be racing as Honda next year.
7  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: That was a pretty good race from tv land.. on: June 16, 2008, 04:02:51 pm
I think the Pugs were having to hold off as they would have boiled the engines. We saw them come into the pits a couple of times & get pulled into the garage. Back cover came off & loads of steam. That was the general opinion of the TV commentators anyway.

That would be a great start.

P.S. I loved the Rollcentre feature. I find it so hard to find decent info from rollcentre on the web. There PR is terrible. Where did you get all the info from?

As one who can't follow every thread, (real work to do unfortunately) the idea of a monthly catch-up is great. There is plenty of news throughout the year to keep it interesting, even if it dropped to every two months over winter.

I would love to see such a thing. However, before I am volunteered for this job, I don't have the time or skill to do it justice.  The very fact that such a service would be useful to me, should count me out as I don't have time to read all the threads. So what we need is to find is someone to whom it would be no benefit at all. They would be the ideal candidate to create the 'Catch-up News' thread. Grin

This would once again make the Autosport guide an essential item when packing for Le Mans, but I think you could buy something softer stronger and much much longer for less £3.

Just gone out and brought a copy of Autosport. This is the only issue I buy during the year, as I have every Le Mans Guide going back about 15 years. I will not be bothering again. Total rubbish.

I know all about the CA Dummies guide, and have already downloaded & donated (great work guys), but I just could not resist a look at what the country's major motor sport magazine has produced. Tosh Tosh Tosh.

If anyone else is considering buying a copy, don't do it. Just DON'T.

What am I doing, I'm not even going this year!!!

Enjoy your time in France, and enjoy the CA Dummies Guide. Save three quid by not buying the Autosport guide and have a Grand Manier Crape for me instead.

Cheers
