Consider ourselves lucky, AFAIK NO alcohol for the Motorbike events and not sold in supermarkets.
After all it is difficult to have designated drivers for motor bikes.

Just a note to remind you that free access to the paddock during the Classic is available to ACO members.

I think you have to get passes in advance though, but I might be wrong.

The booklet I have just received with my renewed membership card states:

"Free access to the paddock is provided upon the purchase of a general enclosure ticket (B price)".

So looks likes like you don't need anything else.

Our tickets arrived yesterday and there was a Paddock ticket included, although I seem to remember it was included in the price.  So I would say you need a ticket but you don't pay for it!

Only on advance sales if you pay at the gate it is not included

Found out yesterday that the tickets are not printed..... probably December.
That came from someone who works for the ACO.
Am going up to Le Mans tomorrow I will try to call in and see what they say.

I have seen each of the Classics and in some ways prefer it to the 24hrs.
The delay with tickets is due to Peter Sport ,the organisers, the ACO  are themselves ticket agents for this event. ACO members get 6 x 24hrs tickets at a discounted rate but only 4 for the Classic.
However I do not see tickets or camping spaces selling out spectator levels are 120,000 not the 222,000 seen at the 24hrs. Last year I bought 4 tickets at the gate as more mates decended on us than expected.
House full for next year and I think places reserved for every event in the forseeable future.
JulesG if you search on Picasa or Flikr for Le Mans Classic there are 1000s of photos to show you what the event is all about.

Are you going to Tertre Rouge? My mate was in for an op, up and walking 2 days after trying to see who was testing on Bugatti.
