A man walks into the pub and asks for a pint and a packet of helicopter crisps, the barman replies that they don’t do helicopter crisps. The man replies don’t worry I’ill have a packet of plane ones

Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: Spa WED 2020 - Camping locations?

Hi Mark, Your in for a real treat, must have a word with my son and get him to treat me, Spa is an amazing circuit. We there in September to see the Spa 6hr Classic. As an alternative to camping have a look at the Holiday village at Domaine long Pre, Stavelot reasonably priced and a great place to go back to if it’s been a wet day, the weather at Spa is very unpredictable and I would take full waterproofs just in case. A suggestion might be to see the Start of the race from the grandstands over locking the pits and then walk anti clockwise round the circuit, most of the paths are paved in concrete. There are some great places to view the racing, I particularly liked watching the racing at Bruxelles hair pin, the spectator area is on a raised bank over looking the track an offers a great place to take photographs. Enjoy your trip Dave

Team Langoustine have been awarded the contract by the ACO to run the old Thomas Cook Sports Site, great news for all those that had previously camped there.

What we need is something like a Le Mans advent calendar every day that passes you tear open the day and pull out a can of beer, just measured up the kitchen wall just about bigger enough to fit one !😂😂
Grandstand & Ferry Portsmouth to Caen booked, Juries out on campsite following the collapse of Thomas Cook sports.
A sad loss, the old Airtrack Site was a great spot

The ACO booking site is again showing free parking near to the Arena, is there anyone that used it last year. We’ve got to manu cars to all fit on the Houx Campsite, looking to leave one or two cars there once we’ve emptied them and was wondering if they opened on the Wednesday.

Has any one got information as to why Thomas Cook Sport are yet to post any details of their Airtrack site for 2018. All I can get out of them is their waiting to sign the contract, with presumably the ACO and will be releasing details on the 18h October, funny how that coincides with first ticket sales.
