Many years ago before the AutoRoute was built, the French used to turn out in there hundreds to watch the British return home. Really pleasant experiences.
My sentiments too Barry. After nigh on 30 years, I fear that this will be my last trek to the hallowed circuit. Have to admit, met some really great people there over the years including the Bretheren.
I have one. To be fair, I normally travel to Le Mans on my own. Saves all of the hassle in either getting out of car or unfasten belts and kneeling on passenger seat to pay.
Many thanks to you all. That was my first ever Le Mans. Time and cheap French beer must have confused me. Not a nice subject. RIP to all those who died finding the dream.
Erm. Just my twopenny worth. Wasn't the last driver killed at LM during a race, before Simonsen, also driving an Aston? Having said that, I feel that the ACO should change the circuit back, It seems that major profit rules now.
