1  Club Arnage / Just To Say Hi / Re:Greetings, All on: June 25, 2005, 08:53:19 am
Hi Warlock / Chop

Any questions will be answered withas much clarity as possible, depends on the time of day really, shame you can't hook up with a UK group and travel down from here, as that just add's to the fun.
Just returned from my 19th le-Mans in 21 years so I think I can help, but some of those were blurred somewhat !

Any daft questions, just feel free to ask.

Time's Ticking by and I am getting nervous about missing my first Le-Mans in 21 years !  Maybe I am getting too old ? leaving it this late to get organised, am still looking for a campsite pass, preferably of the Bleu variety, are there any still out there ?

Hi Mat C

Just to let you know, I didn't get the e-bay ticket so let me know if you still have the one of Bleu.

Hi Mat

Thanks for the offer, I currently have a bid in on e-mail (unfortunately) for a Technoparc ticket, the Auction ends in about 2 hours or so (its now 7.00 pm) if that's unsuccessful, I will let you know and if you still have the Bleu one I will definately be interested.

Thanks again

Steve.
PS where abouts are you ?

Thanks Steve

Doesn't sound too bad, perhaps a bit flat, but I suspect that we won't spend much time there anyway, and beggars can't be choosers can they ?

6  Club Arnage / Help / Technoparc Ticket on: May 03, 2005, 06:44:07 pm
Hi Folks

as I am still looking for a camping permit, someone has offered me one in Technoparc.

As I have only stayed in Bleu, Expo or MB before does anyone know what this one is like.

Hi Smokie

Thanks Canada Phil

I must admit that my age must be catching up with me, as I can't ever remember leaving it this late to have tickets booked before and the thought of having to kip in some flea bitten hotel miles away from the action (not on the track) makes me start to quiver !!!
Oh well, it looks like a parking place then, still sleeping two up in my healey is not my idea of fun, and although my travelling companion is a good mate, he's not that good !

I might just have to stay up all night then, and sample the bungee ball again !

I need a camping permit for any one of the sites, Bleu would be good !

Will try most, but Expo is getting a pain and I am running out of rock pegs !.

as long as I can squeeze a small, tent and a healey with two on board I don't care where we go, I just couldn't face missing the event for the first time in 21 years !

10  Club Arnage / Just To Say Hi / Hello Folks on: April 22, 2005, 11:17:23 pm
Just a quick hello to all adicts out there, my wife has just decided that I am going this year (my 21st) I didn't have the heart to tell her that I already have the tickets!

The healey has been serviced and checked over, are there any others going down, my mate reckons that his old spit will keep up !!

Not if I have anything to do with it.

Have a great time everyone, especially all you Le-Mans virgins.
You will be hooked.

Hi David's dad,  sorry to hear that you can't go to 24 Hours, have you sold your tickets yet, if not let me know, I may well be interested.

Hi there, good to see at least there is one more Healey nut going across, there has been a serious lack of healey's in the past, can't help with tickets I am afraid, but as this is my 21st year and I havn't got mine yet, I wouldn't worry too much. camping permits can be had here or even at some of the travel companies up to quite close timing.  Sleeping in the car is fine, but I wouldn't want to sleep in my 3000 that's for sure.

Worst case would be to take a bed roll and get some kip by the side of the car on sat night, I wouldn't bank on getting much sleep though.

have a great time, believe me you will be hooked.
