That's not fair Smokie - going and looking at my profile...but how many 39 yr olds were there at the weekend - I was the one with the bright orange t-shirt on and or a bright red puffa jacket weather dependant!!

I like to be noticed....  Cool Obviously didn't work though!!

Yeah good point - the pic I put up was brunette - I might be called Penelope Pitstop because I drive like her but I don't look like her (unfortunately)... Wink

I used to write Penelope's Pitstop (about F1) hence the name!!

If we have LMES on tape you can have a copy with pleasure - just got back from Spa so not had chance to check the obedience of my video yet.

Was the woman you approached blonde - because she works for the Ferrari drivers - I just work with Nicolas Minassian and we weren't so lucky Sunday either...shame cos the guys drove the wheels off the thing. (I'm brunette by the way)

Just so that you feel a little better we got absolutely drenched yesterday at Spa and it was freezing cold to boot!!

Minassian on the front row though and your guys 6th...but anything can happen it's a long race.

Have a good time in Pembrey!!

My first year too - at the ripe old age of 39 and like you I'm not as organised as I'd like to have people believe...

Good luck getting camping tickets...

Brilliant - I will keep a look out for anything that comes on here tonight but then I'll be marooned in Spa for the weekend. I will have the lap top though so may have time to keep dipping into the forum.

Anyone going?

Thanks - don't have either pass yet as being organised by a driver - will sort out the press stuff this weekend at Spa so may be a little presumptious that I won't get anywhere to camp but need to be prepared (well as prepared as I can be) - just spent the afternoon looking for my passport.

Anyway good to be here and hope to see some of you at the track someday.

Cheers for the help...thanks Steve too - come on Rick where are you...;-)

Now lets start with what I do have - one press pass to LM 24 and one VIP pass, a tent, a good looking young man to come with me and a car to get there.

What I don't have is somewhere to pitch the bloody tent!!

Considering how many events I attend I can't believe how difficult Le Mans is to sort out.

Can anyone help with Camp site passes, phone numbers or such?

Any ideas welcome... a very humble and probably unrealistic idiot.. Embarrassed

Thanks
