The Astra is back all done – new camshaft sensor and a oil change! Was double labour as the part I was sent was incorrect and had to wait for the correct one to be sent today!! Good job the correct part was only half the cost of the original one so it works out in even!

Mechanic noticed the Oil Cap was broken aswell so bought a new one from Vauxhalls on the way back

Garage work - £99.89
Oil Cap - £8
Total - £107.89

Getting to HA NORD so the gimp and Bondi can have a go - Priceless

I think Lady PP is interested in having a play with young Kev too.... he wont know whats hit him!

Kev, just watch out for the old New Forest two step with LPP, you might not be able sit down or even know your nether regions exist until at least the Classic this year. Not sure about Bondi but Paula was always well fit from the pole dancing.
95  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: weather reports on: June 05, 2008, 01:41:58 pm
the prediction from Wessex, is there will be plenty of weather for the complete week; 24 hours a day.  The days will be light and dark depending when the sun rises and sets.

apart from that I couldn't care less what ever it is we're going to have a bloody marvelous time and may even watch some cars going around the track. 3 days and a wakeup Grin

latest piece from the ACO

http://tinyurl.com/6fvqrf

the VIP pack is timed to perfection as most of us will have already sorted our tickets out.

I guess this is what the new 'welcome centre' has been built for.

this years race is a bit of a milestone as it seems to be over 12 months rather than the normal 24 heures Grin

102  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Gandhi Chopsticks on: May 22, 2008, 08:53:45 pm
odd name but a very good Indian/Chinese restaurant in Eastleigh.  The usual suspects are back increasing their ever expanding waistlines, fancy coming along to an evening buffet; eat/drink and maybe have a chat about LM.

60 dishes, yes 60 dishes, eat as much as you like, all for a tenner.

Table booked Thursday 29th May, from about 8pm onwards,

Restaurant details:-

Gandhi Chop Sticks

Unit 1, The Swan Centre, Eastleigh, Hampshire SO50 5SG
Tel: 023 8061 3861

let us know if you can come along
