Bob, seems more like a them and us, reminds me of pubescent teenagers at school, let them f**k off elsewhere if that's where they feel most happiest, no loss to me.

a little bit of info is always a dangerous thing. back in hospital for the foreseeable, as it is more than just the flu. Lung operation tomorrow to see what the exact issue is and then treatment for whatever is found. witout sounding melodramatic, this treatment i'm going through is very serious over the next year or so and will be taking it easy. good to get the good wishes.

That's really good news Peter I know LM is out of bounds this year, however assuming they find something left of you, will you be doing the Revival? It's my birthday again... Andy, it is in the diary, who knows at the moment, the docs are treading a very slender path between balancing the old me against the new cells, at the moment that means three visits per week doing the bloods and drugs that are needed to keep me on an even keel. fingers crossed.

i'll try and post something over the weekend, home on day release, which means day long visits to hopital for bits and bobs. as the great man said, it's the end of the beginning, so a whole year of being very careful followed by at least another year of slightly less careful. still waiting for the results of the chimera test to see how much of me is left after the transplant.

quick update on where i'm at with the treatment. the first milestone has been passed with the new donor cells safely transfused, apparently from an american lady, the nurses are waiting for me to break out into an american accent, i'm more worried about boobs and a huge arse next step tomorrow when the delicate balance of graft verses host disease begins, a small bit is good a lot is very uncomfatable. many thanks for all the comments all greatfully received and keep the ole' pecker up. must dash another dose of cyclosproan from the luverly Glacee.

hell of a night, details to follow I had a hell of a night too Peter, but I get the feeling mine was a lot more fun than yours. Stay Strong Dx Ace! Sounds good. Was sex involved? Or just drink and drugs? Andy at about 11pm last night i had a very strong urge for a swift measure of chilled Leffe Blonde. Pete, I'm in Southampton tomorrow, is it allowed to come and wave at you through the glass? I could bring a glass of ice cold Leffe and drink it in front of you if you think it would help? Seriously, are you allowed visitors, it'd be my pleasure to drop by. Andy, as much as it pains me, no visitors on the ward, there is a security entrance, there are only six isolation rooms with very sick people in them, sorry chum. Peter
