I found in the LeMans series web site the schedule of the race.

It will be from 19:15 to 01:15, August 1st-2nd
I'm sure that will be increcible... Like the Le Mans night atmosphere ;)

To late for this year, but a family holiday to the Argave might be on the cards next year.

I thought about going there but flight's to Faro are too expensive (~€450).

Yes, your right hgb the flight is not very cheap... :-\
But (maybe next year) it would be a great trip with friends to go to the south of Portugal, not very far from the mediterranean sea...
