There's a chap in the background who is shirtless. I'm glad that there are no children or ladies present to witness such depravity.
Lovely picture. I wish I could produce something 10% as good.

Thanks chaps  ;D

In truth it is a montage of four separate shots (one of each of the cars) all taken from the same place and then overlaid and cut to drop the cars in the right place but leaving the background in from one of the shots. Then levels adjusted so they match and then 'flattened' and finally a painted effect applied and yes, all in good old Photoshop!

After discussions with CA 'management' looks like this will be offered as a limited edition numbered and signed poster print run with a good chunk of the proceeds going to CA funds ... watch this space!

Wow! Big interest :) Thanks everyone  ;D

I've also offered the piece to both Prodrive and Lola and awaiting response which will affect the costs and production size/number (but in a good way!) but at the moment I'm looking at producing it in B2 size (19.5" x 27"). Hopefully will have a response and decision within the next few days.

 ;D

Title: Re: Lola Aston art UPDATE!!!!
Post by: Mr. Rick on September 07, 2009, 10:25:40 pm
Further to earlier posts and with negotiations with Lola and Prodrive coming to a grinding halt (so unable to front the cost of a large print run), I've decided to offer the print as a digital download on that well known auction site  ;)

This little beauty is created at 300dpi so prints beautifully and is set to print up to a MASSIVE 50cm x 70cm (19.5" x 27" in old money) if you have the capability or obviously any size up to that (my Dad loved his A4 sized Dad's Day card!) ;D

Priced at a mere £3 all in (delivered free by email), a whopping 25% of each sale to a CA member will be diverted to CA coffers as agreed back in June, all you have to do is quote your CA forum name and the 'password' which is "carnage"  ;D

And so to the link .... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170380595265 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170380595265) ... and all remaining profits will go into the pot to fund the return of my Maison Blanche website www.maisonblanche.co.uk (http://www.maisonblanche.co.uk) :)

A friend of mine has a printing business in Highcliffe. He can print large stuff on all sorts of paper.  ;D

I'll have a talk with Paddy. ;D

Or if I stick to the A3 size I can print it in the office.

Would an email address help?

I've looked at the Viagra and Internet Banking emails in the spam filter and it was hiding next to "would you like 10 inches".  Thats easy, you just cut a bit off the end ;D
