Title: Re: Mclaren F1 fire Post by: Paddy_NL on June 03, 2009, 08:59:21 pm Sad indeed, but the guy was over-insured, so he should be okay :)
This is more worrying though Quote In 1999, a McLaren F1 driven by Rowan Atkinson was seriously damaged after being involved in a collision with a Rover Metro. Only possible with that lad, ainnit :-\Title: Re: Mclaren F1 fire Post by: Chris24 on June 03, 2009, 10:17:36 pm Well if its a write off then can i have it please. How cool would it be to park that in your garage with the front end sticking out the door so that everyone thinks you have a McLaren. ;D

If you park a battered 406 like this, you're a dick. If you park a McLaren F1 like this, you've got a McLaren F1." Title: Re: Mclaren F1 fire Post by: Lawnmower Man on June 04, 2009, 09:30:53 am Seeing the "Can't park don't Drive" stuff reminds of some guy at work that always parked half in one bay and half in another.
I guess to ensure that he didn't get any car park rash from people opening their doors. That obviously P*ssed off some people. So they parked either side of him so close that he couldn't get in to his car. I gather he was not a happy bunny when the saw what they had done. Most thought it very hilarious. After that he started parking in a more remote part of the car park. t. I have to say they still are a beautiful car and far nicer than that Mercedes thing they did.A classic comment on http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1242670&op=5&o=all&view=all&subj=2373608977&aid=-1&oid=2373608977&id=827150313 "As I said before, in this case it's completely acceptable.
