Title: What's happened to the DBR9 Post by: Bentley boy on April 30, 2009, 10:54:55 am Is the DBR9 considered old hat now? I knew a long time a go the factory team stepped up to LMP1 but what about the customer cars?
I've just been looking at the entry list for the GT's this weekend & the only entry is in GT2 :'( Title: Re: What's happened to the DBR9 Post by: Bas on April 30, 2009, 11:21:08 am There's 1 DBR9 left in the small GT1 class after Gigawave dropped out and the Aston you mention in GT2 is a Vantage V8.
The ACO updated their entrants list yesterday. http://www.lemans.org/24heuresdumans/pages/engages_fr.html Title: Re: What's happened to the DBR9 Post by: Bob U on April 30, 2009, 12:05:16 pm GT1 is very disappointing. No Saleen, only on the reserve list :'( . 2 Lambo's though ;D

No Saleen, only on the reserve list I wouldn't read the entry list for the GT's then ;D http://www.fiagt.com/results.php?event=50&season=2009&reporttype=Entry%20List Saleen is the nearest thing to a Mclaren F1 I'll see this year ;) Title: Re: What's happened to the DBR9 Post by: Bas on April 30, 2009, 12:33:10 pm Looks like all the Astons migrated to GT3 ;)

No Saleen, only on the reserve list :'( #5 on the list, so unless a few teams drop out I doubt we will see a Saleen this year. IMHO the only chance it has is if some of the American entries don't come over, if the present news hype proves to be accurate, and the situation is not very good. |
