Title: Scrutineering Post by: IanS on February 08, 2009, 12:09:28 pm We have always travelled out over night on Tuesday for Wed qualifying, but thinking of travelling out on Monday this year. Is scrutineering worth a visit and which cars are scrutineered on which day, or shall we just put the day aside for drinking?

Excellent day out - you can get close-up to the cars, drivers and team principals. There was also a fair gaggle of exotic road cars on display as well. Easy trip into town on the tram with a 5 min walk at the far end. Also, that day was the hottest day of the week last year. :D If you are an ACO member, there is a small enclosure with a bar which gives you a good viewpoint. Well worth a visit in my opinion - will be going again this year. The complete schedule of the times is published by the ACO, and will be in the CA guide - well, it was last year :P Del Title: Re: Scrutineering Post by: Jack the Hat on February 08, 2009, 02:06:50 pm Is the the scrutineering held at the same place the drivers parade is held ? I have heard Jacobins mentioned but i dont know were this is.
