Title: Someone for Martini to cheer? Post by: Nordic on November 22, 2008, 09:25:13 am http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/7741379.stm
At last a driver in the ALMs and maybe Le Mans for Martini to raise a glass to! Title: Re: Someone for Martini to cheer? Post by: Martini...LB on November 22, 2008, 10:58:12 am Hi Rup
Heard this on the local news. Andy is indeed a good driver but I am not that keen on watching him as the WTCC is, I think most will agree, a tad boring. The trend is to try and finish eighth and then get pole for the next race, which worked well for Andy as his three titles prove. Generally there is very little passing and the races are somewhat processional, they could take a leaf out of the BTC which is much better racing IMO. I am not that keen on procesional racing that is why you wil tend to find me at my tent at LM ;D It also seems a bit of sour grapes if BMW do pull out, they were happy when they had the fastest cars but have been outshone by Skoda and on occassion the blue cars (Chevrolet?) and do not seem to have an answer. >Martini... |
