Title: Petit LM Warning
Post by: Boorish Grobian on September 29, 2008, 04:22:03 pm
Morning Guys,
A note of caution for everyone heading to Road Atlanta this weekend.  I just spoke with my sister who lives in Augusta, about two hours from Atlanta, and she said that fuel supplies in Georgia are a big problem right now because of the recent hurricane activity.  In Augusta this weekend there was ONE petrol station that actually had fuel, and the police had to step in and help guard it as tempers were getting a bit short among the locals.  So it might be a good idea for any of us heading south, (Phil, Chop, etc.) to make you sure your topped off before getting into southern Tennessee and Georgia.  I'm sure the guys heading up from Florida are experiencing similar issues.
See everyone this weekend,
Fax

I'm interested to see how the car hire* company will try to gouge me if I'm unable to fill it before I turn it in.

*Trying to sound more British and failing.

I am in Wycombe and there is a sporadic gas supply but I think that is the result of the chicken chilli jalfrezi I had last night. :P
