Title: Goodwood 2008 Post by: Nordic on September 16, 2008, 05:42:18 pm The Pre meeting test days took place a few days ago and as a taster for those of us lucky souls here are some photos taken by 'a friend'
Nick Masons GTO looked splended and was being driven hard by Darios Franchittis (spl?) brother, Peter Hardman was in a 330 that was very very quick , star of the show was the rather slower, Aston Project car. Looking forward to the weekend and hoping the fine weather will hold. Title: Re: Goodwood 2008 Post by: Andy Zarse on September 16, 2008, 06:47:57 pm Rup, are you going on saturday. Cheryl was hoping to get a special dress but was let down by the supplier late today. I am looking forward to all the racing regardless. Oi, less of the 'old' decrepit, maybe, at least it was me that the 'totty' was chatting up ;D great day, cheers for doing the driving and the chaperoning ;) Title: Re: Goodwood 2008 Post by: Nordic on September 23, 2008, 06:34:57 pm Had a great day on Sunday only spoilt by the women singing the WI favorite Jerusalem during the lunch break, but thats a minor concern when so many fab cars were on track and in the paddock.
I have uploaded my photos from the event to click here (http://rupert8766.fotopic.net/c1583135.html) Shame the Vulcan was not able to make it, it would have looked stunning with the Sussex Downs as a backdrop and the skys were prefect. Title: Re: Goodwood 2008 Post by: Lord Pig-Pen on September 23, 2008, 08:58:22 pm Superb pics.
Peter, do you have one of you and Ian in you white overalls? I think we should all be allowed to see how good you looked ;) PP Title: Re: Goodwood 2008 Post by: Snoring Rhino on September 23, 2008, 10:16:42 pm Peter got all camera shy, or just didnt think the wide angle lens was wide enough 8)
Title: Re: Goodwood 2008 Post by: nickliv on September 23, 2008, 10:36:58 pm And white's not a slimming colour. Black overalls would be just a little sinister though

They are just trying to tease the Lady CA'ers ;D Title: Re: Goodwood 2008 Post by: Lord Pig-Pen on September 24, 2008, 12:25:48 am Peter got all camera shy, or just didnt think the wide angle lens was wide enough 8) far from it, but by the time Ian... had thought of a picture it was the end of the day, the overalls were covered in grass stains, especially on the knees and Ian... had lost his flying hat. So not a complete ensemble, and the shame of it all, he had shaved his moustache off ;D Title: Re: Goodwood 2008 Post by: Perdu on September 24, 2008, 12:28:28 am hmm..?
