Luckily all the marker pen came off the Cav with nail varnish remover. It does wonders for the paint!

Even if you imagine what is exactly under the disguise kit, it is difficult to get excited about the looks of this new NSX.

Will just add to the cult status and desire of the first NSX and even the later face-lifted version.

But good pics!

I cant get excited about the shape either.

Spot on Rusty, that is the road of art.
Perhaps they should have written graffiti on the car, it would have disguised it a lot better than the Zebra on drugs effect.

Ah, Zebras on drugs. Reminds me of a visit to a safari park that was used as a stage on the RAC in the late 90s. Our man had put his Cortina in the lake and as we had a long wait until it could be recovered I went for a stroll around the park. I was just feeding a giraffe a Kit Kat when a land rover with a rather pissed off ranger appeared. Word has it that chocolate has an LSD type affect on them!
There were also Lions kicking about and I should not have been on foot.
 The joys of nature :)

That car is definately in experimental stage though - its on an S2000 chassis/floorpan at the moment, they're just testing out body shapes I think - I've not read the jargon on it, so I'm not sure whether they've left the S2k lump in the body, or put something meatier in it so far......

For those who haven't driven an S2000, let me assure you that the car would handle brilliantly if they left it as it is...... even if it is a little tail happy  >:D

I agree though, at present it doesn't exactly look sleek......wait for the production one though, I'm confident it'll look a lot sexier....

I still want to drive an old NSX.....

The S2000 is a very fine motorcar, especially the engine and g/box, though it's getting a little long in the tooth as it's about 8 years old now.

Can't see the sense in basing a new NSX on something similar. Another Honda new model screwball I suspect. Look at the lovely pretty Mk1 CRX, a fantastic car. Then look what followed it, a mid-engined monstrsity. And also the cocked up the Prelude; a worldwide smash hit when it looked like this  :D ;

becoming a dead donkey sales flop when they replaced it with this  :( :

Dunno about you Mr. Z but the first time I saw the pics I thought that they'd done a cut and shut job on the 350Z - yet another fine motor  :). Mind you I wouldn't mind the reported 450BHP, and the exquisite detail engineering that Honda are renowned for.

Maybe I'm a little biased :)

Long in the tooth though?  I'm not so convinced....mines 4.5 years old, and it still looks better than most roadsters (especially the MX5 and RX8 IMO)...it also looks virtually new - which cannot be said of the RX8's I've seen around....even the leather isn't worn.....they're reknowned for being well built, but everything in this car seems durable and holding the test of time and miles..... Plus it has a big red button that says "engine start"...which gets me excited every time I get in it!!

Brad.
To define handling, roadholding and generally looking flash I think we should do car swap for a week.
You can have Cavvy, she will like you. You can do all the things that provoke hand signals from other drivers when you are in the Honda,do it in Cavvy and no one cares, they just get out of the way!
She wont get keyed, broken into or even urinated on by drunks, as she looks like she has been already.
I am sure that the S2000 would be able to deal with the lanes I live at the end of and a good bit of gravel rash on the arches adds patina.
I have a secure parking spot in Portsmouth so yours will be ok.... and my scrapyard owning mate has loads of tyres so....... ;)

Looks like a BMW clone...

The origional NSX shouldnt ever be copied. They should re-badge it.

Mouth/b ar of soap comes to mind.

It's the car TRIUMPH SHOULD HAVE BUILT. But the TR ranges took priority.

This is an original 1973 GT6 but a convertable as designed by MICHELOTTI..

It may be old, and by modern standards a bit bit slow. But at least I do it with a bit of style.

What do you drive? Can you repair it on the side of the road?

Our old Spitfire sheared a UJ and the suspension collapsed on the way back from Santa Pod once.  What a sh*t suspension design.

Certainly couldn't repair that by the side of the road.  :'(

Oh yes you can, OK it took three hours, but she made it.

I keep a spare UJ in the boot.

My Herald 13/60 broke its half shart in France, the insurance company instructed the garage to weld in back up so I could drive back from Euro Disney (shows how long that was ago). Guess what? I went mad when I heard. Few words later, they recovered the car and us on a trailer.

The good bit, saved fuel cost and the car is on an agreed milage pa, so saved that as well.

The funny bit, was when the garage jacked up and the rear wheels fold in, the paniced an dwere really worried.  ;D

Rear suspension - was cheap!

Front suspension - what other cars used their design/set up - which Lotus and wot other cars.

Anyway, when I was a poor youth, it was all I could afford.

Still got it after 26 years. Must grow up one day!

I had to replace the dougnut on my MK2 Vitesse rear axle on a camp site in Newquay when I was a lad, even when my dad bought the tools down for me, it was a rotten job - in the rain of course!

Thank F**K somebody has design a trunnionless front suspension kit now.

Garages always said they have to be greased because there is a grease nipple. Nope sunshine, EP90 GL5 Oil.

Swapping to new suspension as a Chrissy present to the old girl. Erindorz will probably get a pack M&S knickers or a new handbag (cheap) from carboot sale >:D >:D
