Please keep us posted. Any idea what happened? Send my best wishes. Randy Title: Re: JPC Accident Post by: termietermite on June 12, 2008, 02:48:59 pm None as yet, Randy, as he sounds a bit shocked but by the sounds of things no obvious damage to him. It happened on the motorway so was obviously a high speed job. Thank goodness for the strength of modern cars.
Title: Re: JPC Accident Post by: amazing 1 on June 12, 2008, 03:02:18 pm Thankfully he is ok. 8)

Hurry up and get going Mark. John Title: Re: JPC Accident Post by: JDS on June 12, 2008, 06:43:51 pm holy sh!t ...... pls keep us up to date Termie, hope all is ok and that he's checked over and released ASAP .....
On the briught side, sounds like he's not hurt and he wanted that new Vauxhall anyhow ....... Title: Re: JPC Accident Post by: termietermite on June 13, 2008, 02:04:19 am I spoke to the rest of the JPC team at 6 o'clock and he had been released from hospital and was on his way to the circuit.
The car apparently aquaplaned off the motorway in a heavy downpour and bounced off the central reservation, the concrete barrier, and back to the central reservation again. Kev sounded to be the most battered of the car's occupants but even he is just strapped up and fine apparently. Although I doubt that the next few nights sleeping on a blow-up bed will be very comfortable. Just bumps and bruises so no damage done that won't heal - apart from to the car which after all is just metal and can be replaced. Title: Re: JPC Accident Post by: Lee Self on June 13, 2008, 03:20:18 am Thanks for the info Termie.
-Lee :) Title: Re: JPC Accident Post by: Mr. Invincible Mou on June 13, 2008, 06:41:09 pm ::) Glad to hear that they seem to be all OK.
A few Tropicomas should help brighten up the weekend again. Remember cars can be properly fixed, but JPC is the only one who can fix a proper Tropicoma >:D ;) Title: Re: JPC Accident Post by: Lord Steve on June 13, 2008, 11:14:42 pm Wooooooahhhhhh Mark, good to hear you are ok buddy. Termie can you keep us informed? I couldn't make it this year but could do to know that Mark is OK.
Title: Re: JPC Accident Post by: smokie on June 14, 2008, 12:37:15 am I saw Mark last night, he was somewhat subdued and shaken by the whole episode, but only suffered a cracked rib. At least it's only the car that was seriously damaged...
Title: Re: JPC Accident Post by: Rhino on June 16, 2008, 10:53:21 am Saw the pictures of the car Friday, that was a big accident.

t Title: Re: JPC Accident Post by: Jay (Team Cannonball) on June 16, 2008, 08:13:33 pm Glad to hear everyone was ok. We drove past the scene after the accident when the vehicle was starting to be recovered it looked like a massive impact. I have to say from the state of the Subaru and the sand being put on the road that we feared the worst for those on board.
Hope you all enjoyed Le Mans anyway. The car can be replaced - bodies not so easy. Title: Re: JPC Accident Post by: DickieAttwood on June 17, 2008, 12:54:38 am What a trouper though, we still got a rendition of Mustang Sally at DfH bash ;D ;D ;D Just what we said when it was mentioned on RLM!! Glad you made it. D.A. Title: Re: JPC Accident Post by: Nordic on June 17, 2008, 09:21:53 am Thank god everyone is safe, sounds a nasty crash.
Title: Re: JPC Accident Post by: Robspot on June 17, 2008, 11:25:25 am What a trouper though, we still got a rendition of Mustang Sally at DfH bash ;D ;D ;D Even a high speed crash can't stop him singing Mustang Sally. Is there nothing that will save us from that song? ;D Title: Re: JPC Accident Post by: Andy on June 17, 2008, 02:48:47 pm I hope the check up today gives you good news Mark. Mend well mate.
