Title: Win a bit of a Le Mans Car \ Garage Access Post by: dochersd on May 01, 2003, 08:58:22 am The Worlds Coolest Shelf!!
PK Sport will be contesting the GT Class at Le Mans for the third year with an all British Line team and we've developed a sponsorship opportunity for any fans going to the event who want a bit more access than normal. For the measly sum of £199 you will receive the following; - Your name on the rear aerofoil of our Porsche 996 GT3-RS - PK Sport polo shirt, cap, mug, signed poster and any other tat we can find - A garage tour on the Saturday or Sunday - Entry into a prize draw to win the actual rear wing THis is strictly limited to 48 people, one name will be drawn from a hat before the race (we'll probably do this during the pit walkabout so everyone can attend the draw) and will win the actual wing that is on the car...........obviously you can't collect it until after the race and I can't guarantee that it will be in one piece! They usually survive however and this is the proper carbon fibre aerofoil worth around £2k. It's up to you if you want to clean the bugs and dirt off the arrive at 190mph on the Mulsanne! A genuine opportunity to win a bit of Le Mans history. We will present the wing to the winner when the car returns from scrutineering at the end of the race and they will if they wish be given the opportunity to watch the end of the race from the pit garage. We will if required transport the wing back to the UK for the winner. Contact me via stephen@pksport.com if you want more details or if you would like to take up the offer. Have a good trip to the event! Regards, Stephen PK Sport Title: Re:Win a bit of a Le Mans Car \ Garage Access Post by: BigH on May 01, 2003, 08:18:08 pm Stephen marra,
Is this a raffle, where an entry is 200 large ones, or a free entry, with first come first served and the winner shells out? It's a grand gesture, an' no mistake. I think I may take your lead here, if you don't mind. I've a rather fetching tea tray, with a picture of Max Bygraves stroking a donkeys nose (I'm eating my pot-noodle off it right now!). For two hundred pounds I will fix it (with elastoplast) to the rear end of your car. I can't exactly say that it's been wind tunnel tested, but I threw it at next doors cat once, and killed the f*cker stone dead first time. If burnt toast can be considered carbon and fibrous, then it's that all right. Best of luck in June, keep an eye out for me, I'll be the one with the twitch, Moores Almanac and tea tray. Always wondered if he would get into animal porn. Gives a whole new meaning to the term "milk man".
