Title: To all those reading this site at 0145hrs Post by: Leftie on June 05, 2008, 02:53:40 am Yep, I can't get to sleep either.
Why? I'm worrying about my 35yro motor getting there because things that are straight forward, are not! - trunnions, UJ's, battery discharge, ripped hood (not important but). If I have to get there on a lowloader, I will. And it will be driving around LM. What can't be fixed here, will be fixed at LM. Boot full of spares and full service kit. With room tent, sleeping bag and chair. But, to hell with it, it's going............................................ Title: Re: To all those reading this site at 0145hrs Post by: jpchenet on June 05, 2008, 03:10:20 am Can't sleep either!
Worrying that I have forgotten something fundamental like tickets, ferries etc. Hmmmm, maybe I should tell the missus that I won't be here for a few days next week?? Title: Re: To all those reading this site at 0145hrs Post by: Doris on June 05, 2008, 05:22:18 am Oh, I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

Dx Title: Re: To all those reading this site at 0145hrs Post by: Lazy B'stard on June 05, 2008, 07:24:04 am Me too, spent all night thinking if I have put the seals in the right way round in the Alfa's servo, if I switched the compressor off, if the sills will turn up in time etc.
Then had a dream that LM had been moved to Knockhill and was being eaten by midges. Then awoke with the shock that I have left my wallet outside the workshop on a car bonnet! So at 4:25 this morning I went to work. The neighbours will lynch me when I get home for firing up the Mustang at that time in a morning! Tired. Title: Re: To all those reading this site at 0145hrs Post by: Kev_mk3 on June 05, 2008, 10:13:18 am well i wasnt on the internet at silly o clock this morning but i was awake - last few nights its been near 3am when i finally sleep as i keep thinking of things to pack ???

Title: Re: To all those reading this site at 0145hrs Post by: Stu on June 05, 2008, 05:33:52 pm I had that problem as well, trying to remember if I have everything done. I was sure I'd forgot something and then I remembered. I have'nt finished installing my wifes new kitchen so I'm away for the week leaving her and the kids with 4 walls, 3 plastered, 1 not and a ceiling that needs plastering and nothing else in the kitchen. I think I'm in the bad books. Not for the first time though.

Does your wife not realise what you have to put up with for nine days, no proper toilet, showers, kitchen or laundry facilities, at least she has got four walls and a ceiling, they can be really selfish some times ;DTitle: Re: To all those reading this site at 0145hrs Post by: Dave H on June 05, 2008, 07:53:14 pm I haven't slept in weeks ruminating whether they'll have loaded enough Champers for my USAir flight over.

I'm hoping it's got one last good run left in her! She's carrying 4 people for this 8 hr trip, and valuable drinks in the trunk... :o

Title: Re: To all those reading this site at 0145hrs Post by: Doris on June 06, 2008, 09:33:14 am Homework! ??? Yep - this is what I'm currently working on ... 1: Identify the correct treatment procedures for the range of injuries listed below: • Achilles Tendinitis • Plantar Fasciitis • Chondromalacia patellae (CMP) • Runner’s Knee • Piriformis Syndrome • Frozen Shoulder (Adhesive Capsulitis) • Lateral & Medial Epicondylitis (Tennis & Golfers Elbow) 2: Identify the treatment modalities used in rehabilitation and explain the relationship of stages of injury to appropriate treatments and exercises. ??? ??? ??? Any ideas? Dx Title: Re: To all those reading this site at 0145hrs Post by: nopanic - neil on June 06, 2008, 09:39:45 am • Plantar Fasciitis - Think he was a teacher at my school/borstal years ago ;D
After trying to get my brain working, reading info is one thing, taking it in, understanding it and put it into to pratice is another thing! Also reading the question correctly helps, - Last nigth I did well, put down the right answer - pity the question was wrong! - several times! Oh well. So good luck on your work- get you a few beers at LM. Title: Re: To all those reading this site at 0145hrs Post by: Fran on June 06, 2008, 10:09:13 am Any ideas? R.I.C.E. I guess its backto you then! ;D F Title: Re: To all those reading this site at 0145hrs Post by: BigH on June 06, 2008, 10:15:30 am Hi Doris,
I think I've had most of those, or may be getting them soon, I forget which. Anyway, I've found that a bottle of cheap whiskey followed by a shot of phenolphthalein (a very aggressive laxative, with the added bonus of been a ph indicator, 1:1 with lime cordial is usually best) and 20 minutes in an industrial tumble drier usually does the trick. You used to be able to get this on BUPA, but they've gone all soft these days.
