See this is what you get when you only attend every three years, the excitment just gets to much.
-
i bought a new car ( the one ive now broke ) if that counts ::) - new camping cutlery & equipment ive bought so far - Ebay is my friend
-
New three man "up in three seconds down in 15 minutes) tent. It's only for me but I like to stretch out.
Only problem, I think it's too big to fit in the Frogeye

Get a second one,
Have a 2 sec air one - great tent.
Camping will never be hard (unless it pisses down) again

This is not really what you want to hear....but I have a 2 sec tent (smaller than the 3 man one) and a Honda S2000 (bigger than the sprite).
I can't get it in the car in any way, shape or form, without putting the roof down ::)

Hang on - stop your whinging - Where did get the tent?
;D
-
On the plus side, I have one of these tents too and have mastered the packing of it to about 5 seconds.
Instruction sessions available at Le Mans in return for a cold beer! ;D

To be fair Mark, you do have a bit of a weight advantage, so that probably helps with compressing the tent enough to mash it into its unsatisfactory bag. ;)
In '06 it took 3 of us sutting, stanging, and kneeling on out argos tent to get it remotely close to fitting into its bag.
-
Gary, will it fit your blooming bed?
Who's bringing the genny so your bed will inflate?
Are we selling tickets for the great bust down at the end of the race and having chariddee bets on how long it'll take you?
soon be there guv'ner, better start growing the passport beard again...

Ah yes, but the more room there is in the boot being used by unpacked tent, the less room there is for essentials, like cheese for tartiflette, and bottled delights.
-
Actually you'd be surprised at how much a frogeye will hold as the space behind the seats is one large void.
I can get two full size suit cases in or five wheels and tires if I use the passenger seat too.
But a three man tent packed flat as a 1 meter disk may just be too much. I'll give it a try-out tomorrow.

Oi!!!!! I resemble that remark!! ;)
Honestly though, it's simply whether you can work out the crap drawing or not. When we were at Spa, three of us had them and I had all three folded and bagged within one minute (without having to resort to "squashing" them myself!)
-
And afterwarths you took out QV's tent again and said: "Now you try it." ;D

You can all rest easy in your beds.
The tent fits in the Frogeye with room to spare. I did have to take the roof off to get access though.
