Lets face it they were pretty tight even on where you drove in MB last year. Was BN zoned last year and how strict were they on that? t. Title: Re: BN - who's your Neighbour ? Post by: Fran on May 22, 2008, 02:04:52 pm There were zones on the tickets, but they didnt pay any attention to them at all when I drove in... didnt even know what I was on about when I asked about zones!

Post by: redstu on May 23, 2008, 01:39:14 pm The map makes sense to me now turned Anti Clockwise as FS noted earlier, so the walk to the track is through the car parking area. With the (long) walk back from Arnage village at the top left.

Title: Re: BN - who's your Neighbour ? Post by: Ferrari Spider on June 06, 2008, 10:45:44 am do us a favour before we get bollocked again by an angry Toad, take the map off this site, cheers.
<done, don't what to breach ACO confidentiallity - Steve> Title: Re: BN - who's your Neighbour ? Post by: Christopher on June 06, 2008, 11:45:05 am I don't get why this is such a hot issue. You can get the darn thing from Beermountian, along with some other campsite layouts. Title: Re: BN - who's your Neighbour ? Post by: Steve Pyro on June 06, 2008, 12:00:23 pm I suggest you take this up directly with Mr Toad of Beermountain. He has expressly and specifically asked that those maps are not reproduced away from Beermountain.
Title: Re: BN - who's your Neighbour ? Post by: Christopher on June 06, 2008, 12:02:14 pm I suppose what I mean is, give an explanation as to why this particular map needs high level clearance.
Just deleting it without an explanation is not very helpful. Or when deleting it, post a link to the location on Beermountain so people can get it from there. Title: Re: BN - who's your Neighbour ? Post by: jpchenet on June 06, 2008, 12:17:40 pm I think the issue is that teh ACO have not made the mpas public. Someone, at another forum, has obtained a map from somewhere that needs to remain anonymous. To view it on that other forum, you have to be a member. Therefore the map is not in the public domain.
That said, Paddy and I have questions as to the accuracy of the map anyway as if you look at the shape of it and the obvious gaps for tracks, it looks like it is upside down and that what the map says is trackside is in fact next to the road! I'm just waiting until Monday when people start to arrive to find out what the actual situation is! Title: Re: BN - who's your Neighbour ? Post by: Ade on June 06, 2008, 12:53:36 pm To view it on that other forum, you have to be a member. Therefore the map is not in the public domain. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that if you attach a picture using the additional options button (rather than using a link to an external source) the picture is stored on the CA server and is not viewable unless you are a member, therefore the picture is not in the public domain. New roll of barrier tape procured yesterday at Build Center for £6 :) Last year, they had marked pitched but they were allocated on arrival as far as I could see - I'll be taking the invoice with me again this year just in case the allocation descends into any kind of farce... cheers Ewan Title: Re: BN - who's your Neighbour ? Post by: Chris24 on June 06, 2008, 01:43:12 pm OK, well if i can't view the map, please can someone who has seen the map try and explain what I have . I have six tickets with Rang numbers from 11 - 16 all have the same place number of 40 So I assume these are all in one long strip.
But I also have another ticket which is Rang 16 place 39 So I'm i correct in thinking that I have a strip of six pitches with an extra one on the side at one end So I basically have a long L shape of pitches. If thats the case it may well be worth me keeping the double width pitch and selling the ones at the other end. Does this sound right or is my logic all wrong ? ::) Title: Re: BN - who's your Neighbour ? Post by: Fran on June 06, 2008, 01:52:13 pm You are right! I have marked you down on my list of places to visit. :)

I might actually have to buy some beer this year if people are going to be visiting BN!! :o F Title: Re: BN - who's your Neighbour ? I may well do Steve - I will just have to check my social diary - things might be hotting up on BN this year!!! ;D As for the panniers, I dont think that will be necessary (I can use the car for emergency supplies) - the issue isnt the quantity of beer, its the cooling! Hence the reason I have been eagerly awaiting the "How to keep your beer cold" thread. F Title: Re: BN - who's your Neighbour ? Post by: Mr Toad on June 06, 2008, 06:13:10 pm Sorry if I have come across as "Mr Angry" with all this..I think the reasons have been well observed in this thread - and thanks for all your support in helping protect our source from open visibility. Why on earth its such a closely guarded secret by the ACO is a wonder ??? PS The MB map is upside down as Paddy had observed a while ago, but the ACO have only publically admitted to agents today! ::)

The big pitches were about the same price as 3 standard pitches, so not heavily priced up - I personally didnt buy any as they only had 2 vehicle passes when you could get 3 for the same amount of space with standard pitches http://www.beermountain.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2717&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15 Brian - the colours are just denoting agency allocations (hence my prior issues) - not reason to be concerned about! See you on the ferry?! Title: Re: BN - who's your Neighbour ?
